In the previous two decades, a rising body of proof has established the importance of quality youngster care in promoting healthy youngster growth and college readiness and success for kids. However, systemic modifications take time to implement, and states are at different beginning points. In the FY 2016 Budget request to Congress, the President continued to build a continuum of high-quality early childhood programs, together with proposing an historic investment of $82 billion over 10 years to extend the provision of high-quality youngster care for children under four years old. On November 19, 2014, the President signed into the legislation the primary statutory reauthorization of the Child Care and Development Block Grant program since 1996, which goals to maneuver youngsters receiving subsidies into high-quality youngster care settings.
